Iron Apple Story

Inspired by Family, Fueled by Love

Iron Apple Candleworks started with family, a love for Adams County, Pennsylvania, and—of course—all things that smell amazing.

I'm Brady, and together with my niece, Nayleen, we started Iron Apple Candleworks right here in Biglerville, in the heart of Adams County's apple country.

Our journey into candle making actually started with Grandma.

Whether there's something delicious cooking in the kitchen or a candle burning nearby, Grandma's house has always been one of those places that just smells good. But after years of watching her struggle with chronic migraines, we started paying closer attention to the products and fragrances we were bringing into the home.

That curiosity sent us down the candle-making rabbit hole.

We began researching waxes, fragrances, wicks, and what goes into making a candle. Then we started experimenting—pouring, testing, learning, making mistakes, and trying again. Our goal was simple: make a candle that burns beautifully, smells incredible, and that we would feel good about bringing into our own home.

We found our answer in coconut apricot wax, and Iron Apple Candleworks was born.

Today, we hand-pour our candles in small batches in Biglerville and draw inspiration from the orchards, landmarks, history, and people that make Adams County home.

And the most important review?

They're still Grandma Approved.
